Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce is a family company founded by Grandfather Amador Escudero in 1940, after the Spanish Civil War. The most characteristic thing about this company is the hard work of its owners trying to use current technologies with respect to the traditions.
Amador Escudero Carra
Agriculturist engineer and farmer. He takes care of the vineyard, where he spends most of his time, although during the harvest he works mostly in the cellar (he does the punch down, pump power, racking and pressing). Besides he had designed the new winery.
Inmaculada Escudero Carra
Degree in Economics, she is the manager of the company. She uses to work mainly in the office, taking care of the economic aspects of the business, as well as marketing and sales.
Ana Escudero Carra
Degree in Chemistry and enology. She use to work as a professor at the University of Zaragoza, but in this company she is the main winemaker.
The next generation
The fifth generation is arriving. If you visit us, you could meet them. Víctor, María, Isabel, Vidal and Daniel are the future of this family. They are knowing the winemaking process and developing abilities to know our products.
